Option (b) is the correct answer.Explanation:When any change in the chemical composition of a substance occurs then it is known as a chemical change. For example, reactivity, toxicity, flammability, combustion etc are all chemical properties. So, when sugar burns in air to form water and carbon dioxide then there occurs change in chemical composition of sugar. Therefore, chemical property of sugar also changes. On the other hand, when there occurs no change in chemical composition of a substance then it is known as physical property. For example, density, boiling point, freezing point etc are all physical properties. Therefore, we can conclude that sugar burns in air to form water and carbon dioxide describe chemical properties.

Option (C) is the correct answer.Explanation:Chemical properties are defined as the properties that arise due to change in chemical composition of a substance. For example, combustion, reactivity, toxicity etc are all chemical properties. So, when an antacid is able to neutralize stomach acid then it shows reactivity of antacid with the stomach acid. Hence, it is a chemical reaction. On the other hand, physical properties are defined as the properties which does not change the chemical composition of a substance. For example, mass, density, volume, size, shape etc are all physical properties.Helium is the lightest monatomic element. This shows mass of helium is less which is a physical state.Mercury is a liquid at room temperature shows physical state of mercury.Water boils at 100 degree celsius shows state of water changes at 100 degree celsius. Thus, we can conclude that antacid tablets neutralize stomach acid describes CHEMICAL PROPERTIES.

Here is the word equation and balanced equation to this question.Explanation:Magnesium + hydrochloric acid ⇒ Magnesium Chloride + Hydrogen gasMg + 2HCl⇒ MgCl₂ + H₂
Chemical properties are all those properties that are shown when the chemical is a part of a reaction or is changed in any way. Unlike physical properties, they affect the composition of the chemical and the way it behaves, while physical does not change the chemical itself. Such properties are toxicity, flammability, reaction with other elements, stability, and many more.

Chemical properties are characteristics that change a substance. For example, when a bike comes in contact of water or oxygen it turns into rust which is Fe203. So it came from Iron and changed chemically to rust. Physical is different because it doesn't change its substance. Example, melting an Ice cube is a physically change because an ice cube is just frozen water and when melted, its still water just not frozen.

Chemical properties are those properties that become evident when the material experiences some sort of change. Although there are numerous chemical properties, some most basic ones are reactivity with other chemicals, toxicity, flammability, heat of combustion, oxidation states, chemical stability, types of chemical bonds that will form and others. Unlike physical characteristics that don't change the chemical when altered, changing chemical properties will affect the chemical.
