What kind of camera do most YouTubers use?
What type of camera do most YouTubers use for gaming content? I'm looking for options that can effectively capture gameplay directly from the screen, similar to the video found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D-khPBtPjn4.

It clearly lists ALL the gear he uses (even what headphones), which includes the Hauppauge PVR & FRAPS (the preferred gaming screen recorder hardware & software of many gamers & Vloggers) along with a Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000 & Logitech Webcam software (for his facecam).
He also edits using Adobe Premiere Pro (which is how the picture-in-picture effect is added with his “corner commentary”).
Other famous YouTube Vlogger channels like “Jenna Marbles” (Jenna Mourey) & “My Drunk Kitchen” (Hannah Hart) also started out just using their webcams to record with (both these used iSight on Macbooks, and iMovie to edit) and had great success with simple laptop setups.

I believe Phyralis – might be you are confusing “professional” with the consequences that the first two Youtubers had been using. The 1/3 person simplest has one upload and used to be utilizing a digital camera with dangerous first-rate (it close to looks like he was making use of a cell digicam).
