My friends and I are considering a trip to Croatia. I enjoy traveling, but I often find communication to be a challenge in foreign countries. Do Croatians speak English, French, or Spanish in addition to Croatian?

Hi, I&rsquo;m from Croatia (and speak English, French and Spanish). If you speak English (and you obviously do) you won&rsquo;t have any problems communicating with people here, no matter what part of the country you are going to visit. along the dalmatian coast, esp. in the north, Italian is widely spoken by people of all ages.
older people sometimes speak german ( a legacy of austro-hungarian empire days)
spanish and french – unlikely.
