what part of the brain controls anger?
What part of the brain is responsible for controlling anger? Additionally, which areas of the brain are involved in the senses of taste and smell, as well as in sneezing and the sensation of being followed? The answer choices include: cerebrum, cerebellum, medulla, and hypothalamus.

the amygdala, part of the limbic system (located within the cerebrum), controls aggression, though it is only a part of the whole.
the frontal lobe contains the premotor cortex which helps us exercise self-restraint, among other things.
the specific regions of the hypothalamus control emotional expression and behavior.
by the way, humors is an ancient way, dating back to antiquity and used in Elizabethian times (refer to Shakespearean literature), to explain four aspects of the human psyche: sadness, anger, happiness, and laziness.
Too much water, meant you were sad; too much bile, angry; too much blood, happy; too much bile, angry; too much phelm, lazy.
this is an outdated ‘theory’ and should not be taken seriously.
the cerebrum contains the four lobes: frontal, parietal, occipital, and temporal.
parietal lobes contain the somatosensory cortex which allow us to sense our world through touching and feeling objects.
the temporal lobe is responsible for allowing the brain to process the hearing sensation as well as the smelling sensation. the occipital lobe allows the brain to process vision. the insular lobe, seen only when the frontal and parietal lobes are separated from the temporal lobe, is involved in taste perception.
my best bet is that the answer to all these questions is the cerebrum.
Lobes of the brain
Each of your brain’s hemispheres is divided into four lobes. The two frontal lobes act as short-term storage sites for ideas, allowing you to consider more than one idea at a time. One section of the frontal lobes helps control voluntary movement, while a place in the left frontal lobe allows thoughts to be transformed into words. The parietal lobes interpret sensory information, such as taste, temperature and touch; they also help with reading and math. Occipital lobes process images from the eyes and link that information with images stored in memory. The temporal lobes translate information from the ears, including music. The underside of the temporal lobe plays a crucial role in memory.
