What should i wear to a dirt track race?

i have got invited to a dirt track race, its a first date and want to look nice but want to dress appropriately, and ideas?(I hate picking out outfits anyway so anything helps)

Whatever you do, DO NOT wear any kind of open sandal. (Flip flops, etc.)You can’t go wrong with a fitted tee and jeans. I would avoid skinny jeans depending on the shoe you decide to wear. Maybe even a baseball cap…Nice earrings will make you look/feel nice, even though you’re at a race. The trick is to not over-do it. Simple and comfortable is key.May your clothing be prepared for a dusty, hot, loud experience ðGood luck!

Im a girly girl so i love wearing dresses, heels etc. Ive been to a few races. I typically will wear a sundress & wedges. Although i like looking pretty i dont mind when my pretty outfit gets dirty. I love the attention i get from all the guys. Im always the best dressed girl at the track! To me thats a comfortable outfit. The wedges soles are tall enough to keep my feet outta the dirt. Ive been to races when it started to rain so by the end of the night mud has covered my lower legs from walking, mud is usually splattered all over my outfit & its also dirty from sitting on the bleechers. I really dont mind because even under all the mud I know how pretty my outfit is! I say wear what makes you comfortable & feel pretty. Dont worry what others think or say. Have fun!
