Unless they have changed in the last 20 years a shower show is where a dancer gets in a Plexiglas shower stall (or sometimes a giant Plexiglas champagne glass) and takes a shower (bath) with all the requisite soaping and sensually rinsing.

Now a “golden shower” show is something else entirely.

You miss the point…. he goes to be with his other male friends. The social more’s of our culture typically says that male bonding and exchange happens at bars or in the woods or some ‘manly’ type place. A strip club is a place where the customer focus is on the male so it fits that bill nicely (admittedly a few women show up but for all purposes it is a male ‘den’. In these locations, the rules are different.. (enough said about that) and there is a different level of intimacy then say at a lunch counter. Sure.. we look.. sometimes we toss a few bills on the runway, but by and large, we enjoy the company and the conversation that we could not have outside of those walls. Women have their own versions of this.. and more then a few bridal showers have had a male stripper show up at the door.. Relax.. enjoy your husbands company and companionship.. it should not threatened by the occasional party at the nudie bar if it is then there may be something else that needs to be handled in your marriage. .

I completely agree with you hun, I’ve even asked a similar question on here once and just don’t understand how some women are actually happy for their men to go to strip clubs and look at naked women that aren’t their partner! I know a lot of women and men say it’s “insecure” to feel this way, but imagine if your boyfriend knew you were going to a male strip club, would he feel the same way? I think it’s disgusting!
