When water changed from a gas to a liquid, it releases heat (known as the “enthalpy of condensation”). This heat is equal to the amount that was required to evaporate the water in the first place.

Therefore, because the condensing water releases heat, the room gets warmer.

The window is taking heat out of the room by condensation. When a vapor condense, it looses heat to the window which makes the room ever so slightly cooler.

Edit: But is it not heating the window and not the room. I’m making the assumption that the window dissipates it’s heat outside the room.
