Where is Boot Hill cemetery?

I'm a bit of an urban explorer and a photographer, so I enjoy finding things off of the beaten path.On several websites I've read about "Boot Hill Cemetery" in Amherst, Ohio.A friend of mine who lives in Amherst and I drove around today on North Quarry Road (which is where it is supposed to be) but the only thing that looked close to the hill that has been described in the few short lines that I have read about the place had a private property sign on it, so we drove up and there was a man outside of his house so we asked him if he'd heard of it, or if he knew of anything like that, and he said that he had never heard of it, and that there was no cemetery on the hill.Seeing as I had just alerted the man to my presence, I didn't want to go stomping around on private property to see for myself, so we left. But I'd really like to know if anyone knows any information about Boot Hill, or how to get there!

See Boot Hill Museum, Front Street, Dodge City , KansaBoot Hill Museum was built on the original location of the infamous Boot Hill Cemetery. From 1872 to 1878 Dodge City had no established cemetery of its own.
