B. Very dense particles settle faster than low-density particles.Erosion is a natural process in which the surface layer of the soil or rock is removed and the sediments are dislocated and transported to other locations. This occur because of the effect of the physical agents such as wind and water. After the event of erosion the materials or sediments which are displaced they settled on the basis of their density. Very dense particles settle faster than the low density particles because more dense particles exhibit larger mass per unit volume, they are heavier and gravity will act more on these particles and causing them to settle faster than the less dense particles.

Surface materials breaks down into smaller pieces.Explanation:Erosion is the geological process in which the topmost layer of the soil is worn away and transported by natural forces such as wind or water. A process which resembles erosion is weathering, which lead to breaking down or dissolution of rocks, but does not involve movement of the rock or soil materials. After erosion the layers at the top of the soil are also broken down to smaller bits by factors such as water and winds.
1. Chemical Weather- causes changes in both the composition and appearance of rocks. breakdown of rocks by chemical reaction. The process by which other chemicals combine with oxygen. Oxygen in the air or water can cause chemical weathering.2. Index Contour- The difference in elevation between the highest and lowest points in the area on the map. ... They are usually mapped with small contour intervals. Index Contour. A darker, heavier contour line that is labeled with an elevation.6. A. Surface material breaks down into smaller pieces.9. breaks sediments into smaller pieces transports sediment to a new location works with deposition to carry away rocks.Erosion is the carrying away of sediment by wind, water, ice, and other agents; the process by which sediments are obtained and transportedI'm sorry but i don't know #'s 3, 4, 5, 7, and 8 but i do hope these help you and i am truly happy to help you.
