The northeast region is the smallest by area of all regions in the United States, but by no means it is lacking in natural resources, it is in fact a place very rich in natural resources.In this part of the country there's an abundance of iron ore and coal which are very important for the industry. It also has a very high quality soil, and because of that it has an abundance of agricultural products like the corn. apples, potatoes, different types of berries.The timber is in abundance as well, as there is lot of densely forested parts.The region is also very rich in seafood, especially eels and clams....
