The best answer could be is C, Because there is being a process of fertilization. well, Each male gametophyte consists of several cells enclosed within a grain of pollen. Inside female cones, female spores develop into female gametophytes and the next generation's new sporophytes develop on the sporophyte parent plant. nice man.
The correct answer is option A. Seed cones contain ovules.The seed cones are the part of the gymnospems, in which the female part is present. The conifers are the gymnosperms, which produces cones. These cones can be classified in two types, pollen cone and the seed cone. The pollen cone contains the male reproductive part and seed cone contain female reproductive part.

Each male gametophyte is just a few cells inside a grain of pollen. Each female gametophyte produces an egg inside an ovule.
