The right option is;  b. Tephra are a combination of water and rubble.Volcanoes are vent or fissure (usually in a mountainous form) on the surface of a planet such as earth that periodically releases hot lava, volcanic ash, and gases from a magma chamber below the surface. Volcanoes can cause a lot of hazards and can damage crops and animals. Volcanoes can have prolonged effects on the climate, and weather. It can also cause acid rain, thunder and lightning.... The correct answer is: b. Tephra are a combination of water and rubble. The volcanoes can be very big hazards. A larger eruption can cause damage in its surrounding area, but also on a regional, or even global level. The consequences can also be long-lasting, mostly manifested in sudden climate changes. The tephra though is not a thing of big concern from the volcanic activities, as the tephra does not really cause any serious damage usually, be it short term or long term one. Also, the tephra is not a combination of water and rubble, so we can say that this statement is wrong.... Show More
B.Tephra is the volcanic material that is blasted upwards from the eruption.... Show More
I would say that b and d are not true as tephra is just the pyroclastic fragments that are ejected from the explosive type of volcano and are not usually thought of as mixed with water and also an explosive volcano does not normally have flows but it has hot fragments ejected as chunks that are airborne unlike a say Hawaiian shield volcano made of basalt that flows with lava. Occaisonally there can be flows from an explosive volcano if the ash is mixed with water making a lahar, but this is relatively rare. The explosive type is usually a type of acidic volcano unlike basalt which is basic. Actually in b it is true because while tephra can be just the pyroclastic material like ash and bombs, it can also be mixed with water from the water vapour from the eruption.... Show More
