which of the following provides electrical safety?
Which of the following devices contributes to electrical safety? 1. Circuit breaker 2. Fuse 3. Ground fault interrupter 4. All of the above 5. None of these

I think it’s all of them. A circuit breaker cuts of if the current gets to high and can be reset. A fuse blows if the current gets to high. I’m not sure about (3) but i use the term earth wire. If you mean earth wire, this provides safety and it diverts the current to the ground if needed.
Yes, all
A GFI trips if the current in the live wire does not match the current in the neutral wire. It is assumed that in that case that current leaked to ground somewhere, i.e. a “ground fault” though it could have shorted to another circuit rather than ground.
In the UK known as an ELCB (Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker)
Tripping on excessive current protects the wiring from overheating, possibly causing a fire.
One possibility for a ground fault is current passing through a person to ground, so the GFI might save them from a serious shock or electrical burn.
