Which sentence uses accept and except correctly?

This is not at all difficult. Look up both words in a dictionary. Or this might help. The word 'accept' is formed of the Latin roots 'ad' which means 'to' or 'towards', plus 'cept' which basically means 'take'. The word 'except' is formed of the same 'cept' but 'ex' means OUT. If something is ACCEPTED, it is 'taken towards you'. If something is EXCEPTED, it is taken OUT.... Show More
