Why does Juno wear a skirt over her jeans?
I have a question about Juno's outfit in the movie. I noticed that she felt the back of her skirt and then took it off before visiting Bleeker. Was there a specific reason she wore the skirt over her jeans, or did she simply think it looked good? Thanks!

I watched the movie with the commentary and discovered that Juno wore the skirt when she went to see Mark, but took it off when she visited Bleeker because she wanted to impress Mark more than she cared about impressing Bleeker at the time. She also put on lipgloss to go see Mark, and she didn’t put on any for Bleeker.
I once asked my daughter why she dressed the way she did & she replied,” because I like to dress the way I do”. I thought ,fair answer, so I guess Juno dresses as she does because she wants to which is fine by me.Good luck Juno.
I think it is just because she is weird and likes to be different in order to express her individual style.
But, who knows?
