The life will be most threatened if we suffer the destruction of MedullaExplanation:Medulla is the control center for the cardiac functions and breathing rythms. Thus , any harm to Medulla oblongata will hinder the vital functions of the body like breathing and circulation of blood, thus immediately cutting down the supply of oxygen to the tissues and organ failure resulting in Death of the person.Apart from this medulla also controls the mechanism of sneezing, vomiting , swallowing etc.

D MedullaExplanation: The medulla oblongata is a cone shaped nerve cell mass in the hindbrain, it controls a number of involuntary functions like circulation and respiration. the medulla oblongata helps to regulate sneezing, swallowing, digestion, breathing and the functions of heart and blood vessels. The medulla is the connection between the forebrain and the midbrain because sensory neurons and motor from the forebrain and the midbrain travel through the medulla.Because the medulla regulates breathing and heart functions, its destrucction is definitely life threatening.

Answer; -Medulla Your life would be most immediately threatened if you suffered destruction of the Medulla. Explanation; The medulla oblongata is a portion of the hindbrain that controls autonomic functions such as breathing, digestion, heart and blood vessel function, swallowing, and sneezing. It is located in the brainstem, anterior and partially inferior to the cerebellum.-The medulla is easily the most important part of the brain. It's functions are involuntary, or done without thought. We would not be able to live without the medulla because of the myriad of crucial tasks it performs including regulating blood pressure and breathing.
