According to pericles, how is athens different from other greek city-states?

According to Pericles, how is Athens different from other Greek city-states? Athens has an administration that favors the upper classes, yet it also has laws that treat all citizens fairly, regardless of their social class. Additionally, Athens adopted the best laws from neighboring states and improved upon them. Unlike other city-states, which may lack a formal legal framework, Athens has a constitution that governs its citizens.

I agree with the person above - Athens has laws that treat all people fairly, regardless of social class.Athens is the land of democracy, which supposedly means that people are equal and treated equally, not taking into account which class they belong to. Having this in mind, A is definitely incorrect; C is incorrect because all Greek city-states did that - Athens is no different; D is incorrect because every city-state had its constitution.

Because they were different from the other city-states, and they had a different government system.Kept poor people from serving the state. Imitated the laws of its neighbors. Treated all its people fairly regardless of class.

The correct answer is Athens has laws that treat all people fairly, regardless of social class.Athens was the cradle of democracy. There were laws and these laws applied equally to all people and all free people could participate in the democratic process of voting and make new policies that would be designed for the best of the people. This didn't happen in other city-states which were often ruled by single emperors and the class division was great.
