any ideas on how to make the captain crunch hat? or where i could find a captain jacket like his?
I'm planning to dress up as Captain Crunch for Halloween, but I'm having trouble finding a hat or jacket that resembles his. If you have any suggestions on how to make these items or where I might find them, I would greatly appreciate your help. Thank you!

The hat you will HAVE to make yourself. I think you should cut it out of cardboard, paint it blue and make the gold C. Then just tape it to a regular hat.
As far as the coat, get a regular blue coat from a thrift store. The brighter blue the better. Then go to an arts and crafts store and get some bright gold drapery cording. You can glue stripes on the coat. Put 2 drapery tassels on the shoulders. Perhaps a gold ribbon glued as stripes on the wrists.
The gold on top of the hat is optional. Some pics have it and some dont.
