at least 8 objects that represent time?
I'm looking for at least eight objects that represent the concept of time. I'm struggling to come up with ideas because I want to avoid the usual options like clocks and watches, as they seem too obvious and somewhat uninspired. I would appreciate more creative suggestions that still convey the essence of time, but I fear I might have to resort to traditional timekeeping objects if I can't think of anything else.

a sundial or if you want it to be more creative, take a picture of a very busy street, prefereably people in a hurry. try looking at different angles such as birds eye view or maybe just focus on the feet. it may represent time and how important it is in everyday living.
How about a series of photos over time? Such as the 1930's fashion, going all the way through till now.
Or a few photos of yourself growing up?
I hope this helps and good luck =]
well my sister had to do something similar for college. she got this table, a modern wooden table, and left the left-hand-side of it nicely varnished and with sharp edges (it's origional state). and with the help of her bf's dad (a carpenter) she gradually made the table look weathered and old. the vanish got scrubbed of, bit by bit, there were scratches in the wood, dents, discoloration etc. basically, the left-hand-side of the table looked new, and faded into the right-hand-side, which actually looked really antique and old!! she kind of failed though, because there were no objects on the table (which was aim of the project) but you get the idea! just be creative!
That is a tough one.
Rock/soil layers.
Series pictures:
