Ben Stien’s movie Expelled?
I would like to bring attention to the movie "Expelled" by Ben Stein. I believe it deserves a wider audience, especially since it seems to be overlooked by the media. It's clear that opinions on the film will vary; some viewers may appreciate it while others may not. I am interested in hearing your thoughts: Would you be inclined to watch it? Please share your honest opinions. I plan to see it myself. You can find more information here: http://reepicheep-ajf.blogspot.com/2008/01/new-ben...

The media will not cover it? What does that mean? I will not pay to see it - I am going to download the screener. It is a worthless movie based on a refuted idea. The people who made the movie have been very deceptive and this has been clearly documented. Hopefully this crap will end sooner than later - it makes me sick. To learn the truth on the movie:

It's getting press. I just read a review of it in Variety this morning. Sounds like an interesting movie to me.
I heard about this movie and I also heard about how they got some of the scientist to interview for the movie, it is all bs propaganda and goes agaist what has been proven %100 by scientist. Nonsense all nonsense
He sure has guts to go against the establishment.
It's good to make movies like this that make you think about things. Too often we are told what people want us to believe and then we are told there is no debate.
Just like the AGW hoax, Darwinism is not proven and it is good to debate these issues and not force people to believe in them with closed minds.
He won't win an oscar like Gore did for a movie that was 99% fabricated, but I doubt he cares. We know the powers that control hollywood don't like for the truth to get out.

The reason the media won't cover the film is because there are two types of people: intelligent people, and completley retarded ones (i.e creationists). Everyone knows that Evolution has no relation at all to Hitler and the Holocaust (which is what Ben Steins promoting). He is a sick person and believes that intelligent design hasn't been given a chance in the classroom. And of course scientists who question evolution would get fired or removed from their post because THEY ARE SCIENTISTS, NOT FAIRY TALE WRITERS (i.e the people who wrote the bible). This movie is a waste of time and money and shouldn't be watched by anyone. I feel especially sad for the kids who watch this film because they're gonna be brought up on lies and become ignorant bible thumpers when they grow up. This is a film that is nothing but anti-science propaganda aimed at creating the appearance of controversy where there is none. Do not see it, unless you want to be insulted on your intelligence.
Ben Stein is an intelligent man, but he seems to be lacking in the area of science. He goes about trying to debunk evolution by equating it with Social Darwinism (and Hitler), the origin of life, atheism, and thinks that the gaps are evidence for Intelligent Design.
There are so many fallacies that all this movie has the potential to do is to fuel ignorance and scientific illiteracy.
Science should be open to new discoveries. However, Intelligent Design (at this point) does not have evidence, and does not even seem to be related to science. The problem I have is that people are trying to push religious propaganda (like Intelligent Design) into schools, treating it as science.
Ben Stein isn't concerned about explaining Intelligent Design, evolution, or the debate between the two. Rather, he is deceivingly trying to fuel public hatred of evolution and atheists in an attempt to push his own religious beliefs into schools.
I plan to see it, but I am not going to pay for it as I will not contribute to this anti-science "movement." Science is not about emotions and opinions, as Ben wants to lead you to think. It also does not exclude the supernatural. It is a separate subject from the supernatural (you cannot test or observe it.)
