Calories in MD 20/20 “Mad Dog” alcohol…..is there alot?

I drank a whole 750ml bottle of MD 20/20 “Mad Dog” to myself last night, and now I'm trying to watch my calorie intake, so I'm a bit worried this morning. It comes in different flavors, but I specifically had the Strawberry Kiwi, which, by the way, was delicious and got me drunk for just $3.00! Haha! According to drinkmixer.com, there are 20 calories in 1 ounce of the grape-flavored wine. I'm wondering if the strawberry flavor, being fruitier, might have more calories. I've done some research, but I can't find information on the calorie content for the other flavors. Does anyone have any insights? Serious answers only, please. Thanks!

I hope you get over your hangover. MD 20/20 is a fortified wine which means it has had brandy added to stop the fermentation at a certain point. The result is an alcohol content that works out to 40 proof, (% X 2). The rule of thumb is that it’s one calorie per "proof" per ounce. So you have 40 calories, not 20. Add onto that the residual sugar that makes it sweeter than most wines, plus what gets added with the flavoring etc. You then come out closer to 60 calories per ounce.

Now, 750 ml, is about a fifth of a gallon or 4/5 of a quart. That’s about 25.6 ounces. Multiply that times 60 and you get 1,536 calories. I would have to say you really blew your diet.

mad 20 20 is what i call bum wine. If you look at the ingredients it has ether and the same stuff you make em bombing fluid out of. If you are so worried about calories try water.

I DON’T THINK THAT MD20/20 IS THE BEST THING TO DRINK IF IT HAD TO DO WITH CALORIES OR NOT READ THE INGREDIENTS.YOU R A LADY Y WOULD U EVEN DO THAT 2 YOUR SELF.I DONT FILL THAT IT IS GOOD 2 DRINK AT ALL!
