Rudolph Colao (1927) is a member of Allied Artists of America, Artists Equity Association of New York, Hudson Valley Art Association, Knickerbocker Artists of New York, and Rockport Art Association. He has taught at the Art Students’ League of New York, and The Scottsdale Artists School in Arizona.Articles on the artist have appeared in American Artist Magazine (March 1975), Southwest Art Magazine (March 1982), American Artist Magazine (May 1982) and Focus/Santa Fe (Aug/Sept 1988). What you need to determine is if your piece is an original as he is known to have been reproduced in oils. by putting pictures of it up on yahoo answers, or just getting an honest opinion of whether or not it is any good, i am assuming you painted it since you said “my painting”. basically if people think it is good then it is worth something, but the value of a painting is based only on what people think of it, so while you may think it is beautiful, society may think it looks like crap and is therefore worthless. Unfortunately that is the case more often than not since artists never get famous until after they die
