Crunch gators. When did this brand go off the US market?

These were spicy potatoe chips. They were around enough to be shown in the original Home Alone movie. Anyone have any info on why they left the market? I recall they were owned by Frito Lay, tasted like kettle chips, but spicy bar-B-Q.

Crawtators by Zapps Original Cajun Kettle Recipe Potato Chips from Louisiana and they are not owned by Frito Lay but by Ron Zappe. They are one of the beautiful things about living in Louisiana, as much as a lot of people might disagree with that. You can order them on the web site included at the bottom.
