Define: morally permissible, morally mandatory?

Could you please provide clear definitions for the terms "morally permissible" and "morally mandatory"? Additionally, it would be helpful to understand the differences between these concepts in ethical discussions and their implications in real-life situations.

Morals are beliefs, in this case cultural beliefs or beliefs of the majority.

So morally permissable means the behaviors the public tolerates, like smoking and drinking.

Morally mandatory means moral “have to’s” like, no underage drinking, and no killing. And there are consequences to not following, like jail time.
