The rings of Saturn are almost made of ice, with some rocky components. The size of the rings are roughly 170,000 miles wide, and about 30 ish feet thick.

Rings of Saturn are made up of dust and ice and they have a radius of some where between 60,000 to 80,000 km.Explanation: There are four rings in Saturn out of which only one is bright while rest all three are faint.All these rings rotate at different speeds. The rings of the planet are composed of ice, rock coated materials and dust. The radius of the ring extends up to the extent of 3 lakh kilometer and have a depth of some 10 meters. These rings are named based on the order of their discovery such as A, B, C, D, E etc.

Hey! I’m not sure if you meant to post an article, but it is not here. I will do my best to answer anyways. The rings of Saturn are the largest ring system in the solar system. The rings are made up of countless small particles, MOST of which are made of ice, and rocky materials. Their relative size as to an elephant? HUGE. Their relative size as to the sun? Einsy weinsy widdle babies.
