Do I have a virus? Or just a Windows 7 question?

I am unable to backup or restore my computer to a previous date/time. In fact I am unable to access most of the options in my control panel. Everytime I try to, I get a message that says this: "Windows cannot find %windir%\system32\sdcit.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again." The OS I am using is WIndows 7. I just started having these problems about a week ago. I am also unable to download any software applications from the internet. Everytime I try to a message pops up that says something like " It was unable to find the environment??" All of the options in my control panel that I am unable to access have a small yellow and blue shield next to them... If that helps any. Any help that anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated!

i have faced the same problem few days back and you are right it's because of some malicious program in your computer....you need to run the recovery........ Show More

I would be restoring the computer to factory condition.Look in the manufactures folder in All Programs or use the disks that came with the computer.... Show More
