Do rabbits need an anti-rabies vaccine?
I have two rabbits that are two months old. Should I get them vaccinated for rabies? A veterinarian mentioned to a relative that I should consider rabies vaccination for them.

Rabbits do not need to be vaccinated against rabies. There is no rabies vaccine approved for use in rabbits anyway. In order to contract rabies, they would need to be bitten by a rabid animal and survive for months afterwards. The sheer stress of the attack would kill a rabbit.
Rabbits need no vaccines at all. And even though they can get rabies it’s very rare.
