Do you need to twist your new piercing?

I heard to not twist your earring because it will cause irritation.I also heard you need to twist it ,so that your skin doesn’t grow on your earring :/

Your skin cannot grow “on” or into your jewelry, that’s literally impossible. Unless your jewelry is a porous material, but your skin isn’t growing into metal.Your skin could only grow over your jewelry, embedding the jewelry inside the skin, if your jewelry was extremely tight. You’d know this was a risk, because your jewelry would be sunken into a swollen, angry piercing.
