Does 24 Hour Fitness drug test new employees? Additionally, can anyone share effective strategies for passing a drug test?

They don’t even test “new employees” They test “potential employees”

You won’t get hired if you smoke pot.

That’s why College Seniors stop smoking pot.

My ex-husband had to hire some people once…he surely did not read the hundreds of CV he got every day.

He mostly contacted people with good grades and who did not take a “sabbatical” in the middle of college.

(Don’t bother sending your CV, we’ll contact you).

He looked at mostly two things, their grades and how many years they needed to complete school.

The rest of the pack was sent a nice impersonal letter like “we’ll make sure to contact you in the future if a job opens….RIGHT!!! Dream on)

Then they get the drug/fitness test, and then you get the interview with the guy who’s going to hire you.

You don’t “pass a drug test”, you just stop smoking pot the in your senior year is you want a good job.

I had 4 meetings to get a job…the first one to fill out all the paperwork, bringing all your papers and filling out forms, so they do background checks.

The second meeting was for an interview with some guy making sure you’re not a lunatic and writing something to make sure you know how to write and count.

The third one was for the fitness/drugs tests.

You have to wait for results and analysis before being called back.

Finally you get the interview with the guy who’s going to hire you…maybe.

After being hired (in a bank), I was not an employee but a trainee for a whole year…good pay but it was in France where you cannot hire and fire employees lightly. To fire somebody, that person would have to have done something illegal (like steal money). People lose their job because of downsizing (you still get paid for a year while getting another job) or their company closed, or they quit (like I did, when I move to the US), or to start a family…

You can fire trainees so you have to prove yourself for a year.
