According to 9day.us, COMAC is the terminology used by Walmart for display activity in the Food Area, as directed by Walmart’s Home Office. If an item is ON COMAC, it is typically scheduled to be on display in two-week increments. COMAC items are normally force-shipped to the stores for display.
Sometimes, Walmart associates use terms that customers may be unfamiliar with, such as: "Oh, it's over by the GM doors," "It's on an endcap in the next aisle," "Let me get my Telxon to check that price for you," or "Please wait a moment; I have to call a CSM."
