Does anyone know of area code 139?
At 4 AM today, my phone rang with a long-distance call. Due to the late hour, I chose to ignore it. The call display showed that the number had an area code of 139. I'm curious: what country or state is associated with that area code? I’ve been searching online, but it appears that area codes begin at 201, which has me puzzled. Does anyone have any insights on how I can figure this out? I appreciate any help you can provide!

It’s possible that the ‘1’ was a long-distance prefix; if so, the number 39 is the country code for Italy.
There is no Telephone country code of 139, nor is there a 139 area code anywhere in the United States.
