Does Canada have a “Pledge of Allegiance” like America does?
Does Canada have a "Pledge of Allegiance" similar to that of the United States? If so, what is it, or what alternative practices do Canadians engage in to express their national loyalty?

What capitalgang said is correct, however those phrases don’t stand in place of what the American Pledge of Allegiance does. You swear (or affirm) an oath to the Queen of Canada if you’re entering the military or obtaining citizenship (through a citizenship ceremony, etc).
Where Americans may recite the pledge at the beginning of the day of school, we sing Oh Canada, or at least stand for it.
Previously Lord’s Prayer and singing God Save the Queen were also done, but are no longer.
Capitalgang is right about the Oath to the Queen. However only military and government workers are required to take that oath. Children in school as an example don’t start their school day with the oath of allegiance. In my day we sang O Canada and recited the lord’s prayer in the morning and ended the school day singing God Save the Queen. Those traditions have long since passed into history.
In the 1950s in Markham township north of Toronto we used to recite a pledge of allegiance to the flag (possibly the Union Jack or maybe the Red Ensign) and to the Queen, but i just cannot remember the words! We sang The Maple Leaf Forever in the morning I think, and God Save the Queen at the end of the school day.
I can remember saying a verse of something we called “the Pledge” every morning before the singing of O Canada, in elementary school……..It wasn’t the ‘Lords Prayer’ or anything religious, but I can’t for the life of me remember how it went. This would have been perhaps 1985 through 90…..Then it went to the wayside. But listening to/singing O Canada is the same thing to me.

We used to pledge allegiance to the Union Jack in school. The national anthem, then God save the Queen followed by pledging allegiance to the flag.
I am not sure about all of Canada but I live in Manitoba and every school day at the beginning of the day we sing “O Canada”.
I remember we used to pledge allegiance to the Union Jack. It went something like this: “This is our flag. It is the Union Jack. It s colours are red, white and blue. Red is for courage, white is for purity and blue is for . . . ” Unfortunately, I do not remember the rest. Maybe I have jogged someone s mind? We also sand God save the Queen and said the Lord s Prayer.
