Does drinking water help skin and acne?
I have acne on my face, chest, and back, with severe outbreaks on my back. I've tried many products, including Proactiv and Clean & Clear, without success. I'm looking for suggestions, particularly home remedies that might help. Additionally, I would like to know how much water I should be drinking each day to potentially see some improvement in my skin. Thank you in advance!

Aim for 8 cups a day
Well water flushes out toxins in your stomach, which helps liver do its job more rather than helping the stomach.
Water also leads to healthier digestive system which is a crucial factor in preventing acne. As acne is toxin released through your pores due to liver being too busy helping your stomach. (this is why, alcohol/cigarettes, are really bad!)
Remember, Water leads to healthy digestive system, not pops or any other drink. It has to be water. only exception is carbonated water which still does its job.
I tried doing no medication but just drinking water regularily, it helps ALOT.
goodluck
Drinking water does help your skin and acne but only if you’ve been dehydrated. Water alone can only do so much. To rid of acne on your face, back, chest, etc., use this, it’s better than Proactiv.
Water is good for your skin . I had really bad acne & I decided to drink water for a week & most of my acne was gone . If you want to keep away the acne , you should wash your face with dove soap ( it really helps ) & don’t drink a lot of soda & don’t eat a lot of junk food ( that’s the cause of acne ). And to clear dark spost , use cocoa butter or ambi cocoa butter soap.
I’ve struggled for years and I’ve seen dermatologists and think I can help you.
First book an appointment with your doctor or dermatologist to get specialist treatment (preferably both antibiotics and a topical cream) the reason to do this first is it could take a month or two to get an appointment.
Next stop using the stuff off the shelves, I found most only contain harsh chemicals and alcohols that irritate your skin, this was also told to me by my doctor and dermatologist
Next look at your diet, you are after all what you eat. If you want big changes you need to make them, for me I cut out sweets and chocolate and cakes and all confectionery as the excess sugar cause rises in blood sugar which causes breakouts. This includes fizzy drinks. Next cut our refined carbs such as white flour, white bread, white rice and so on, instead eat whole grains but try to eat slightly less if you can. Next cut out dairy this is a BIG one. Replace with antioxidants fruits and veg and wait Month
There are three main ways to lose weight quickly.
1) Use only water as liquid and eliminate all other liquid drinks from your diet. You must drink as much water as possible every day. You must drink about half of your weight. If you have weight of 200 pounds then you must drink about 100 oz of water.
2) The interval between the eating is very important. If you eat once, then you must eat next after 4 hours. You must take breakfast regularly. In the night eat your food three hours before going to bed.
3) Walking is very good. You must walk as much as you can. Walk everywhere you can. Use of elevators and escalators must be reduced and instead of these you must climb stairs more often.
These are some of the fastest ways to lose weight. By just following the simple steps, you can lose your weight very quickly. You must consult your doctor if want to change your diet or exercise routine.
