Head rush/dizziness as a strange philosophical experience?
I've been experiencing something unusual for several years now. It typically occurs when I transition from sitting to standing or during yoga when I move from a low position to a higher one. I often feel dizzy and need to close my eyes or bend down to regain my balance—what I would describe as a normal head rush. However, the strange part is that during these moments, when I feel like I'm "blacking out," my body sometimes starts shaking, or just my knees do. Despite this, I remain fully conscious, almost as if I'm a witness to my own experience.
During these episodes, I often have a philosophical thought, such as "fear is not real," or I find myself fixating on a number—in recent instances, it's been 77. This seems to happen involuntarily. Interestingly, I actually enjoy this feeling; it’s as if I finally perceive life for what it truly is in those moments. After a few seconds, my normal thoughts return.
Can anyone explain or relate to this experience? I've asked several people, but none have had anything similar.
