Holiday Inn early check in/out?

I would like to inquire about the check-in and check-out policies for booking a room during the day at a Holiday Inn location in Southern California. Specifically, I am interested in obtaining a room from approximately 10 AM to 8 PM. I do not intend to stay overnight. Thank you.

Here’s the deal: Hotel policies dictate that the check in time is usually early afternoon, and check out is late morning. So their “day” goes from noon one day to noon the next day. You’re asking them to give you a room that spreads out over two “days”.

The only way to do this is to either book two nights or call the hotel and ask for an exception to the policy. And that’s it.

Check-in time will start from 2pm (hotels need the morning to clean and clear all their rooms so you don’t trip over cleaning trolleys etc in the hallways) ? So you can check in after that, no problem. If you’re planning to arrive late in the evening, though, it’d be good to let the Holiday Inn know – certainly if you haven’t pre-paid. Otherwise you run a risk of them selling your room to someone else.

You need to contact the Holiday Inn you want to go to. We can’t tell you that… it’s up to each individual hotel. It also depends on how many guests they have the night before most checkins are after lunchtime. If the hotel is not booked the night Becker you can request an early check-in but you need to call them directly we can’t help you with that here..

the guy who replied below is silly, it totally depends on the property owner and they do that many times, call them in advance and ask if they have the rooms available they usually let you do it, done listin to idiots like Obviousman. They give book answers.

It depends on the property and management. I would call the hotel directly and explain that to them and see if they can arrange something. Most hotels will work with you.
