Aye, the TI-84 Plus doesn’t have a sin² feature. However, sin(x)² will have the same result (because it’s the same thing).

I need to solve a problem with a sine squared by graphing, i forgot how to plug that into my calculator. thanks.
Keep in mind that Sin squared actually means (sin (x))^2. If you type this into your calculator, it will give you the value you’re looking for.
Go to mode on your calculator Go to Pol in mode and click on that then push y= type in 4sin(4x) *the x button will enter theta, but it’s still the same button* it will come up with interesting stuff that way. Better than function equations because well.. they aren’t functions.
It means you square whatever the sine (answer) is. For example sin^2 60.0 degrees would be sin 60.00=0.866 then you square 0.866 so the final answer would be 0.750 I confirmed with my professor.
you can’t
that will produce an error.
i suggest you just square the whole equation. it will yield the same results.

just type in (sin (x))^2 into Y1=_____.
Hope this helps!
