How do you pronounce the god “Dian Cécht” name?
I would like to know the correct pronunciation of the god "Dian Cécht." I recently heard it pronounced as "dee-an cecht" (with the "cecht" pronounced like "catched") in one video. However, another video suggested it sounds more like "jean" (as in the pants) followed by "cecht" (similar to the German word "achtung"). Can anyone clarify the proper pronunciation?

For Dian, it should be like /ʤʲiːan/
The second half should be pronounced like the Scottish Loch or the German Bach.

[dʲiːən kʲeːxt] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dian_Cecht
Something like djee-un kyecht (with the guttural "ch" as in "Achtung!"). The "d" is slender, so it's not pronounced like a "d" in English.
This also confirms the above pronunciation: http://www.sacred-texts.com/neu/celt/cml/cml32.htm
