How do you use a scroll in Morrowind? (pc)?

I even put the scroll on the quick key menu. you open the scroll, and then...? please help

Opening the scroll doesn't let you use (cast) it. It just lets you read it like a book.To use a scroll, select it from your magic/spell menu on the bottom right window, then activate your magicka, and click. It operates just like a spell, except it's one-time-only.... Show More

It will be in your spells list. You don't actually equip the scroll itself.... Show More
