In 1988, Mike Tyson married actress Robin Givens, but the couple divorced in 1989 amid allegations that Tyson had physically abused her.
On April 19, 1997, Mike Tyson and Dr. Monica Turner got married. She was a pediatric resident at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, D.C., and the sister of Michael Steele, the former Lieutenant Governor of Maryland and Republican National Committee Chairman.
They met at a party at Eddie Murphy's New Jersey mansion in the late 1980s—long before the boxer's legal problems. After six years of marriage, his second wife, Monica Turner, filed for divorce in 2003 on grounds of adultery. They had three children: Rayna, Amir, and Exodus. Sadly, Exodus, who was just four years old, died from a tragic accident.
On June 6, 2009, in a short, private ceremony at the La Bella Wedding Chapel at the Las Vegas Hilton hotel-casino, Mike Tyson married for the third time to girlfriend Lakiha Spicer. They now have two children: daughter Milan and son Morocco.
