How many people died in 9/11?

On September 11, 2001, the tragic events of 9/11 resulted in the deaths of approximately 2,996 people. This number includes those who perished in the attacks on the Twin Towers and other locations, such as the Pentagon. At the World Trade Center, nearly 2,700 individuals lost their lives, with some resorting to jumping from the towers in desperate attempts to escape. At 9:37 AM, one of the hijacked planes crashed into the Pentagon, the headquarters of the U.S. Department of Defense, killing 184 people, including 125 Ground victims. A fourth plane was forced down in a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, at 10:03 AM due to the courageous efforts of the passengers on board, resulting in the deaths of 40 individuals. Among the total fatalities, we must also honor the brave firefighters and first responders who risked their lives to save others trapped in the wreckage.

About 2,700 people were killed, dozens of them desperately jumping off the twin towers.At the same time, another of the four planes crashed into the Pentagon, the headquarters of the US Department of Defense - a symbol of the US superpower's military strength, at 9:37 am, killing 184 people, of which 125 were victims on the ground. The other crashed into a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania due to the effective response of the terrorists on board at 10:03, killing 40 people.

The final statistics of US officials show that a total of 2,996 people have died, including brave firefighters who rescued people trapped in the WTC.

Approximately 3,000 people were killed when al-Qaeda hijackers flew three planes into the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York City and the Pentagon in Washington D.C. on September 11, 2001. Another plane crashed in a field in Pennsylvania.

A compensation fund was set up shortly after the attack to compensate the families of the victims.
