Explanation:In a neutral atom the number of protons equal the number of electrons. Also, it is known that atomic number means number of protons. Atomic number of indium is 49 that means number of protons in indium is 49. Since it is a neutral atom so, number of electrons in an indium atom is also 49. Whereas mass number means sum of total number of protons and neutrons.           Mass number = no. of protons + no. of neutrons                  113 = 49 + no. of neutrons            no. of neutrons = 113 - 49                                       = 64Hence, in a neutral indium atom no. of protons = no. of electrons = 49 and no. of neutrons is 64.

             Number of Protons  =  19              Number of Neutrons  =  25              Number of Electrons  =  19Explanation:Number of Protons:                                The number of protons present in any atom are equal to the atomic number of that particular atom. Hence, as the atomic number of Potassium is 19 therefore, it contains 19 protons.Number Neutrons:                              The number of neutrons present in atom are calculated as,                                # of Neutrons  =  Atomic Mass - # of protonsAs given,                                 Atomic Mass  =  43                                 # of Protons  =  19So,                                 # of Neutrons  =  43 - 19                                 # of Neutrons  =  24Number of Electrons:                                    As we know for a neutral atom the number of electrons are exactly equal to the number of protons present in its nucleus. So, for 19 protons in neutral Potassium atom there must be 19 electrons.

Protons = Electrons = 43Neutrons = 54Explanation:Technetium is transition metal and belongs to the 5d-series in the periodic table. Tc- 97  has an atomic number Z = 43 and Atomic mass A = 97For a neutral atom:Atomic number = number of protons = number of electronsAtomic mass = number of protons + neutronsFor Tc-97:Z = 43, thereforeProtons = 43Electrons = 43A = 97i.e. 97 = 43 - neutrons# neutrons = 97 - 43 = 54

There are 53 protons, 53 electrons and 78 neutrons in a neutral atom of iodine-131.Explanation:Iodine-131 is a radioactive isotope of iodine-127.An isotope is an atom that has the same atomic number but different weight atomic of its original atom.Iodine-127 has:- Atomic number = 53- Atomic weight = 127- Protons = 53- Electrons = 53- Neutrons = Atomic weight - Atomic number = 127 - 53 = 74Iodine-131 has:- Atomic number = 53- Atomic weight = 131- Protons = 53- Electrons = 53- Neutrons = Atomic weight - Atomic number = 131 - 53 = 78

Atomic number od iodine is 53. That number show number of protons (in neutral atom number of electrons and protons are the same). So number of electrons are 53 and number of protons are 53.Mass number of this isotope of iodine is 131. That number show number of neutrons  +number of protons. So, number of neutrons:131-53=78.
