How much does 1 litre of ethanol weigh?
How much does 1 liter of ethanol weigh? I know the density of ethanol is 0.789 g/cm³, but I'm confused about how to use this information to find the weight. Could you please include the calculations? Thank you!

The density of ethanol is 0.789 g/cm^3 and 1 litre is 1000 cm^3.
Thus, manipulating Density = Mass/Volume, you would get Mass = Density * Volume.
Mass thus equals to 0.789g/cm^3 * 1000 cm^3 = 789g.
Hope this helps ?
first thing is how many cm cubed in 1 litre. 1000 I believe as 1000cc ( cubic centimeteres)
1000 multiplied by .789 equals 789g per cm cubed. Which sounds about right as 1 litre of water weighs 1 kg or 1000g. As ethanol will be lighter than water answer must be something less than 1000g. So 789 g it is then. Simples

RE:

density of ethanol, 0.789g/cm
You have the answer in front of you
the Sg of your ethanol is 0.789g/cm and water which has an Sg of 1.0 is equal 1cm = 1g
so your litre of ethanol weighs 100 X 0.789g = 798g
I think you mean 0.789g/cm^3.
1L = 1000cm^3
So cm^3/L = 1000/1
0.789g/cm^3 X cm^3/L = 0.789g/cm^3 X 1000/1
= 789g/L
Therefore 1L of ethanol weighs 789g or 0.789kg
You CAN gain muscle and lose fat at the same time and I will show you how. The answer to this question really depends on your goals. For more advanced exercisers or bodybuilders looking to gain large amounts of muscle while losing large amounts of fat, those goals often conflict with one another. Building muscle requires eating more calories than you burn while losing fat requires eating fewer calories than you burn. When losing fat, your muscles aren’t getting the fuel they need to grow larger.
