H&R Block emerald card direct deposit time?

I was not approved for the RAL loan. So of course I have to wait 8-15 days for my refund to be loaded onto my emerald card. The IRS accepted my taxes and the site says I should get my refund on Feb 13th. If the IRS deposits that to the bank that handles the emerald card on the 13th. Will my refund be posted to my card on the 13th? Or will it be a longer wait?

You should get it that day. The time of day varies. H&R Block Bank (the ones who handle the Emerald Card funds) guarantee that it will be on the card that day. That means that if they put it on the card at 11:59 pm on 2/13, it is that day. Remember they are putting funds on thousands and thousands of cards on that day so wouldn't you rather they take their time and get things right or hurry up and possibly make an error?

When I called HR Block this is what I got back from their automated message: If you used HR Block and are having your refund deposited onto the emerald card, your funds probably will not be available until the 17th. The message specifically said that due to Monday's holiday, and bank time of 2 days, refunds won't be available until the 17th.Automated HSBC number: 1-888-832-5625 As far as other banks, it's likely the same, though it will depend on each individual bank. When I got my stimulus, it said processing, however, I could access it immediately.Plan to not have it till Tuesday, but be pleasantly surprised if it's available sooner.
