I don't see how it could considering Kahlua is a coffee tasting drink. Scotch tastes nothing like Dr pepper.

Can't be. The taste of scotch is so distinctive I can't believe it would taste like anything else.For a Dr Pepper taste, pour a nondescript beer (Bud or similar) into a glass. Pour a shot of amaretto. Drop the shot into the beer (yes, the shot glass, too) and chug the entire thing down. Hey, that tastes like Dr Pepper!For an additional thrill, light the shot on fire before dropping it in the beer, making a Flaming Dr Pepper. It burns some of the alcohol off, but that's a small price to pay for pyrotechnics. Walk into a party and make this drink like you do it all the time to get people to think "that's one party animal"!

Ugh. Sounds like a waste of both Kahlua and Scotch. I can't imagine it tasting like Dr. Pepper. Have a Rusty Nail instead -- Scotch and Drambuie. That, other than water, is the only thing I know of to mix with scotch.
