In which order are the steps of the scientific method commonly listed?

What is the typical sequence of steps in the scientific method? For example, is "Ask a question" considered the first step? Could you clarify how these steps are commonly structured?

You find an unanswered question, then you create a hypothesis about your expected reaction, then you conduct experimentation and collect the data, you conclude your experiment and communicate your findings.

c. question, hypothesize, experiment, collect data, conclude, communicateStep 1 is question. First you ask a question that you want to know the answer to and that can be answered by experimentation. Step 2: hypothesize. Taking what you know make an educated guess or prediction about what you think the answer to the question might be. Step 3: Experiment. In this step you conduct an  experiment or series of experiments to test your hypothesis. Step 4: Collect Data. During this step of the scientific method, you collect the data from the experiment. You might be charting how tall or big something is, or how fast something goes, or other results of the experiments. Step 5: Conclude. In this step, the data is analyzed and it is decided whether or not the hypothesis is correct. Step 6: Communicate. In this step, the findings are revealed and shared with others. This may be through a report or presentation.

The right option is; 3. Question, hypothesize, experiment, collect data, conclude, communicate. The scientific method is a set of principles or steps that are developed and followed by scientists to answer specific questions about the world. The steps of the scientific method in the right order are; making observations, followed by the formulation of a question, proposing a hypothesis, experimenting, collecting data, conclusion, and communication.
