Insufficient memory on my TI 84?

I just recently bought a TI 84 Plus calculator from Office Depot. I'm bored as heck in my classes, so I wanted to download a few games onto it. Whenever I try to put a game onto it, it says: USB communication error: Insufficient memory (8C08000C). I looked up a few guides on Google and Youtube, but the only answer I found was to delete things off my calculator. I have never downloaded anything on my calculator because it's brand new. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks.

Which game are you trying to put on it specifically?Press [2nd]+ > 2:Mem Mgmt/Del... Check the amount of Free RAM and Free ARC you have. The TI-84 Plus usually comes with preloaded applications (which are different from programs), which may consume some space, but it should cause that error...I assume you're using TI-Connect. If so, then you should know that it's not a very "stable" piece of software and tends to throw random errors for no reason at all. If your problems continue to persist, I'd suggest trying TiLP, a third-party linking program for the calculators: http://lpg.ticalc.org/prj_tilp/win32.html
