Is buying from DLSite safe (Buying Hatoful Boyfriend)?

I’m asking in this section because this site sells indie dating sims and such, and I figure someone who’s a regular here has had to buy from it or know someone who has.DLsite.com I’m checking out Hatoful Boyfriend, and it brings it you to a site www5.econ.ne.jpThis domain belongs to econtext.jp. Which I think is a branch of an E-Context company based in Hong Kong. Either way.Can I trust these people with my debit card number? I’m not old enough to get Paypal, but old enough to have and use the card. I’m trying to be cautious.Do you if it’s safe or not? Thank you.

DLsite is a well-established site. I’ve bought things from there with my credit card and not had any problems. The one thing you may need to look out for is that sometimes with the foreign transactions they store them up and don’t process them until the end of the month. So if you’re using a debit card be sure you’re actually balancing your checkbook, because they may not take the money right away, and you don’t want to be surprised by them suddenly taking it later. Also, make sure you know what your bank’s fees for foreign transactions are, because there will probably be a little added on top by your bank.... Show More
