Using programs like DAP and such you can place in an IP to make it look like you’re from a different place… Not sure how to do that otherwise… Or where to look for NY proxies.

I’m not sure you about how you can get a specific IP address to appear as yours, but I have used paid VPNs to mask my IP so my isp (AT&T) doesn’t throttle my internet connection when I’m downloading torrents. I believe the VPN I used was like $5 a month and it made my IP look like it was from Holland. It didn’t let me choose, it just did it.
