What is the salary for the Vienna Philharmonic Symphony?
Hi everyone,
I have a question about the Vienna Philharmonic Symphony: What is the salary for the musicians in the Vienna Philharmonic Symphony? Could you please provide this information as soon as possible? Thank you!

Compensation for being a member of the Vienna Philharmonic has not been publicly disclosed; however, it has been previously reported that a woman in the orchestra would average about $8,000 per month from the Vienna Philharmonic, in addition to her salary from the Vienna State Opera.
It was also mentioned that the orchestra used to have an annual income of about $15 million after expenses, which was divided among the 150 players.
The aforementioned figure was estimated more than a decade ago. While it may not be as accurate as their actual revenue today, it provides an idea of how luxurious it is to be part of one of the best orchestras in the world.
In addition, Philharmonic members earn substantial government salaries for their positions in the Vienna State Opera orchestra, and a significant minority earn yet a third salary, also government-paid, to teach at the Vienna Music Academy.
The Vienna Philharmonic also commands the highest concert fees of any orchestra, sells more recordings, and earns more money for its members than any other orchestra.
Tickets for the three traditional end-of-year concerts of the Vienna Philharmonic range between €35 and €1,090 (about £30 and £942) for the New Year's Concert, €25 and €800 (about £21 and £691) for the New Year's Eve Concert, and €20 and €450 (about £17 and £389) for the Preview Performance.
