Some types of aquatic frogs bury themselves in the mud and hibernate at the bottom of lakes and ponds during the winter. What adaptations allow these frogs to survive in such conditions?

Response  Explanation: as winter comes the frog feels the air getting colder and thinner. So the frog gorges itself with food till it is full and fat then it hides in holes or borrows possibly with other frogs in them to keep warm. By the time winter ends the frogs are skinny, wellrested, hungry, and warm.
